The latest patent shots reveal what Renault officially calls the Taliant sedan. No more details are provided, but sources report that it is more than just a rebadged Dacia Logan.
Specifically, it is claimed that the car
will be based on the latest-gen Logan chassis and body and be similarly sized
to it. It will get new bumpers, radiator grille and lighting to tell it from
the donor model. Inside, the steering wheel, air deflectors and the entire
dashboard will be new.
The engine range is expected to stay the
same, composed of three-cylinder engines rated between 65 and 100 horsepower. When the Taliant debuts, it will be the
marque’s most affordable option for developing countries.
