BMW M8 Gran Coupe owners looking for a power upgrade to mix it with supercars in a straight line can now turn to G-Power, who has released a special tuning upgrade. With the Stage 3 upgrade, the 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8’s output and torque rise from the standard 616 HP and 750 Nm in the M8 Competition to a jaw-dropping 808 HP and 1,000 Nm.

The tuner’s online configurator tool reveals a € 4,595 (US$ 5,585) price for the GP-820 performance software, € 5,950 (US$ 7,232) for the turbocharger upgrade, € 5,360 (US$ 6,515) for the sport downpipes and € 5,950 (US$ 7,232) for the GP-Deeptone exhaust system with four carbon fiber tailpipes. Removing the V-max limiter, which allows the car to hit 330 km/h, up from the standard top speed of 250 km/h or 305 km/h with the M Driver’s Pack, costs another € 495 (US$ 602).

Stage 2 unleashes 759 HP and 930 Nm and Stage 1 brings 710 HP and 850 Nm to the party. There’s no saying how quick the tuned M8 Gran Coupe is to 100 km/h with either of these, but the stock M8 Competition needs only 3.2 seconds.

Other upgrades for the M8 Gran Coupe include a sound optimization software for the exhaust system (€ 245 / US$ 298), custom carbon fiber bonnet (€ 5,950 / US$ 7,232), dynamic carbon wing (€ 3,332 / US$ 4,050), 21-inch RR or RS forged wheels (price upon request), engine cover (€ 1,785 / US$ 2,170) and sports steering wheel (price upon request).
