Having tuned some of the hottest 911 models out there, including the GT3 RS and the stunning GT2 RS, Manthey Racing has now turned its attention to the 718 Cayman GT4. The sports coupe has received a bundle of aftermarket upgrades that improve its performance at the track, which were developed based on the company’s expertise in motorsport.

Some of the highlights of the project are the coilover suspension and upgraded brake pad set with steel flex lines. But they do not stop here, as the 718 Cayman GT4 MR, which is the official name of the build, sports a protective grille set for the air intake, air deflector, gurney, new wing brackets and Y-spoke wheels finished in gold.

The tuner did not say anything about the 4.0-liter naturally aspirated engine, so it is likely stock. And that’s quite alright, because it produces 414 HP and 420 Nm of torque. The 718 Cayman GT4 has a maximum speed of 304 km/h and the ability to accelerate to  100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds from a standstill.

If you’re looking for the ultimate performance in a 718 Cayman, then the upcoming GT4 RS model should be the one to go for. It will feature aerodynamic and technical upgrades over the non-RS variant, and a more powerful version of the 4.0-liter flat-six. The exact output and torque are unknown, but it’s been reported that it might arrive with up to 450 PS. Others believe that it might have up to 500 PS.
