The Volkswagen Taigo is a coupe-like, compact-sized crossover SUV based on the Nivus model available in Latin American countries and scheduled for premiere in the coming summer. Sales should begin next year.
LED headlights, an all-digital driver’s
cockpit and an extensive assistance package are going to be included in the
base trim level. VW promises a selection of “economical petrol engines”, most
likely referring to three-cylinder ones.
The car will share its MQB-A0 modular architecture
with the Volkswagen Polo and T-Cross, which means it will have native AWD in
all versions.
