Ford unveiled the 2021 F-150 Raptor earlier this year and now we’re learning how much it will cost. According to documents obtained by F150Gen14, the Raptor will start at US$ 64,145 excluding a destination and delivery charge of US$ 1,695. That’s a significant jump from last year as the 2020 F-150 Raptor began at US$ 53,455 and climbed to US$ 56,440 for the SuperCrew variant.
Putting the price increase aside, the
Raptor will be offered with an assortment of options including a US$ 795
Convenience Package, a US$ 1,075 Exterior Graphics Package and a US$ 995 Carbon Fiber
Package. Customers should also be able to get a US$ 695 Bundle Package, a US$ 1,995
Power Tech Package and a US$ 7,500 37-inch Tire Performance Package.
While full details will be announced
closer to launch, the priciest package includes Recaro front seats and 37-inch
BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires wrapped in unique 17-inch forged aluminum
wheels that are beadlock capable. As a refresher, the 2021 F-150 Raptor
features an evolutionary design as well as an all-new five-link rear suspension
that has extra-long trailing arms, a Panhard rod and 24-inch coil springs. The
model also sports 35-inch tires and next-generation FOX Live Valve internal
bypass shocks.
Ford has been coy on performance
specifications, but confirmed there will be a twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6
engine that is connected to a ten-speed automatic transmission. The truck will
also come equipped with an electronic locking rear differential, while a
limited-slip front differential will also be available. Inside, drivers will
find a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12-inch infotainment system.
Other highlights include a new steering wheel and aluminum trim. The model can
also be equipped with an 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, connected
navigation and an onboard generator.
In other news, the documents reveal the
2021 F-150 Tremor will start at US$ 49,505. Designed to slot beneath the Raptor,
the truck has a revised suspension with retuned springs, new upper control arms
and Tremor-specific shocks. The model also has a locking rear differential and
18-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch General Grabber all-terrain tires.
Motivation comes from a 3.5-liter EcoBoost
V6 engine that produces 400 hp and 678 Nm of
torque. It’s paired to a ten-speed automatic gearbox and a standard four-wheel
drive system. The 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor and Tremor will be available this
summer, and we can expect to learn more in the coming months.
