Porsche has released pricing details for the 2022 718 Boxster and Cayman before local deliveries start this fall. Sitting at the base of the range are the standard 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman that now start at US$ 63,950 and US$ 61,850 respectively, a jump of US$ 600 over the 2021 models. They are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged flat-four engine that produces 300 hp and is paired to a six-speed manual transmission.
Those after an even sportier driving experience
can opt for the Boxster and Cayman T that start at US$ 73,050 and US$ 70,950
respectively, US$ 700 more than before. The 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-four range
kicks off with the Boxster and Cayman S, both pumping out 350 hp and priced at US$ 75,950 and US$ 73,850, or US$ 600 more than the 2021 models.
The sports car family also includes the
Boxster and Cayman GTS 4.0 that feature a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter
flat-six with 394 hp. Prices for the Cayman GTS 4.0 kick off at US$ 88,750 and US$ 90,850 for the Boxster GTS 4.0. Porsche has also kept the Boxster 25 edition
around for 2022 and increased its starting price by US$ 2,500 to US$ 102,540. Topping
out the range are the 2022 Boxster 718 Spyder and 718 Cayman GT4. Both feature
a 4.0-liter flat-six with 414 hp and are priced at US$ 99,650 and US$ 102,550
respectively, each US$ 1,000 more than before.
Finally, Porsche has added Frozen Berry
Metallic paint for US$ 650 and the same Shark Blue color as the new 911 GT3 as a US$ 2,580
option.
