Sales of the Volkswagen ID.6 CROZZ has been starting in China on June 23. Unlike many other ID family cars, the ID.6 will never be available outside of its home market. The mid-size crossover SUV is being produced at the FAW–Volkswagen joint enterprise. It is 4,891 mm long, 1,848 mm wide, 1,679 mm tall with has 2,965 mm of wheelbase, and has three seat rows.

The model looks only marginally different from its cousin, the ID.6 X, which will go into production at the SAIC–Volkswagen factory. The two even have identical cabins. The same duality can be observed in the ID.4 CROZZ and X, except that the two have even fewer differences.

Customers will have three powertrains to choose from. The two more affordable specs feature RWD and come rated at 180 and 204 metric horsepower, accordingly. The top specification boasts dual motors capable of 306 hp. It needs 6.6 seconds to reach 100 km/h and maxed out at 160 km/h.

There are two battery sizes on the list: 62 and 83.8 kWh, and the larger one yields 580 kilometers of NEDC-rated range.
