Great Wall-owned mobility brand Haval will soon be releasing a coupe-like crossover SUV named the H6S in China; this is what it looks like. The newcomer uses the same technical underpinnings as the current Haval H6 for China, but sports a different body type and all-new appearance. This includes a large front bumper with fang-shaped air intakes, a special radiator grille, larger exhaust pipes and a couple of spoilers, including one integrated in the bodywork.

A premium trim will additionally get black wheels and vivid color accents. Designers claim they drew inspiration from images of the shark, and certain similarities can indeed be seen in the front fascia and the profile. The cabin remains to be revealed in full detail, but we are promised sports seats with integrated headrests there.

When the Haval H6S reaches the market, it will initially do so with a hybrid powertrain under the hood revolving around a 1.5-liter turbo. It will offer around 154 PS in exchange for less than five liters of gas per 100 km (47+ MPG U.S.-based).
