The Nissan-Dongfeng joint enterprise has founded a car brand named Venucia specifically for China, and the V-Online SUV pictured here is going to be its next production car. The images depict a coupe-like crossover with a rather edgy front fascia and a letter V embedded into the radiator grille. The taillights are rather slim, and the brake light in the middle is also V-shaped.

We have no official cabin shots to show you, but there is one unofficial/leaked image revealing a not-quite-round steering wheel, a V-shaped engine launch button, and two front panel displays united under one solid sheet of glass.

In all likelihood, the newcomer will ship with a 1.5-liter gas turbo engine rated at 190 PS and 260 Nm of torque. There could be a choice between six-speed manual and seven-speed DCT for transmission, but the drive will probably stay on the front axle in all versions.

Sales will start later this year. The larger Venucia Star SUV shown in the embedded video here starts from 126,600 Yuan in China, and the V-Online should be a fair bit more affordable than that.
