The BMW X5 counts among the Bavarian marque’s best-selling vehicles, and it is going to be updated soon. The SUV wears only minimal camouflage on the latest batch of spy shots, suggesting that most of the change will take place at the nose and the tail.

Specifically, it looks like the headlights will become slimmer than before and the front bumper will be reshaped along with its air intake in the middle. The radiator grille may or may not change.

While the body stays more or less the same, the interior is due a major overhaul by now. Our expectations are such that the X5 will get the latest iDrive 8 infotainment and a large dual dash display.

Some changes might find their way into the engine palette as well, but the X5 M will probably keep its 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 available in variants up to 625 PS. The unveiling is expected later into the year.
