The latest patent filings reveal that the Toyota GR GT3 Coupe will be identical to its concept version revealed at the beginning of the year. As you can easily notice, there is now a modest-sized rear spoiler instead of a giant wing, but other than that, the car stays virtually the same. This even includes the wheels.
Like any self-respecting racecar, it also
has a low-slung body kit, front fender intakes and a bulky rear diffuser. The
exhaust tips now reside behind the front fenders.
Engine specifications remain unannounced,
but there is no mistaking an ICE powertrain here, which is surprising given the
recent electrification trends. Having said that, we still don’t know when the car will be released.
