Transforming cars have only recently been considered the technology of a distant future, but German EletricBrands promises to change that with its Xbus project. The microbus debuted last year based on a rolling chassis that can be outfitted with several body style options. Earlier announcements included a bus and a pickup, and here comes an RV.

The camper is 3,945 mm long, 1,690 mm wide and up to 1,990 mm tall. Despite its tiny size, the Xbus can accommodate two travelers with such modern amenities on board as a TV, a kitchenette with a sink, a fridge and a stove, a sleeping area, a fresh water tank, storage niches and solar panels.

As for the battery range, the standard cell pack holds up to 10 kilowatt-hours and translates into 200 km of range, per the manufacturer. You can pay extra to triple the size and the range. In its most basic form, the Xbus costs £ 17,526 in the UK. The camper version starts from £ 29,727. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2023.
