Arctic Trucks Russia has expanded its portfolio with another Chinese car – the Great Wall Poer. The pickup received chassis upgrades and improved terrain capabilities, just like the Great Wall Wingle 7 before it.

The tuners widend the track from 1,596 to 1,720 millimeters and raised the ground clearance from 232 to 270 mm. They also put 315/70 R17 tires with 35 inches of external diameter around new 17-inch wheels; the original truck had 18-inch rims.

 

As a result, the approach and departure angles went up from 29 and 25 degrees to 36 and 26 degrees, respectively. On the downside, while the stock car weighed 3,060 kilograms, the modded one put on another 170 kilograms. The minimum turn radius also became larger and now amounts to 7.75 meters instead of 6.55 meters.

The full Arctic Trucks AT35 package include wheel arch extensions, a snorkel, a winch, robust side sills and skid plates. Things stay stock in the drivetrain department, where a 2.0-liter diesel engine churns out 150 PS to an eight-speed automatic transmission with a transfer case and a rear LSD. No pricing details were provided.
