The Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series model is back for 2024, and this year the flagship model brings a special white and blue color combination, added performance parts, and more to the lineup. For the coming model year, its starting price rises to US$ 116,700 (all prices include US$ 1,350 delivery fee) for the hardtop coupe version of Lexus’ sports car. Meanwhile, customers will have to pay US$ 121,900 for the convertible. While that’s a lofty price for the vehicle, buyers will not only get exquisite trim, but they will also get the promise of exclusivity, because just 125 examples are being produced for North America for the 2024 model year.
Buyers will get an LC-first exterior paint
color, Polar Surge Satin. The color will be sealed with a satin lacquer
topcoat, and will contrast against the black finishes on the front grille
surround, the headlights, the taillights, the rocker garnishes, and the outer
mirrors. A set of matte black painted, 21-inch, forged wheels completes the
look.
The exterior is also made more aggressive
with the addition of aero enhancements such as the bumper canards and the
coupe-exclusive carbon fiber fixed rear wing. In combination with the Torsen
limited slip differential, and the rear performance dampers, the LC 500
Inspiration Series offers drivers serious performance handling characteristics.
While the convertible model doesn’t get the wing, it does get a Blue fabric
top, which was chosen to match the Deep Blue upholstery inside. Equipped to
both the convertible and the coupe, the blue interior gets contrasting gray
stitching, and Alcantara-trimmed sport seats and headliner.
In addition, the interior also gets a
carbon fiber badge with the vehicle’s serial number on it and Inspiration
Series scuff plates near the doors. Sound comes from a Mark Levinson 13-speaker
915-watt Reference Surround Sound Audio system that can be controlled through a
12.3-inch touchscreen in the center of the dash. The 2024 Lexus LC 500
Inspiration Series is expected to arrive in North American dealerships in the
early fall of 2023.
