The first Exeed Exlantix ET has rolled off an assembly line in Wuhu and will soon be handed over to the government for certification. The SUV is slated to reach the domestic market next year. xeed presented the Exlantix ET at the Chengdu Motor Show in August. The soft-roader is being positioned as an electric alternative to the similar-sized Exeed VX model. Compared to its peers, it offers an impressive 700 kilometers of driving range.

It is expected that buyers will have three battery sizes to choose from – 60, 82 and 100 kilowatt-hours. The driving range will reportedly vary from 500 to 700 km. Topping up the battery for just five minutes will replenish 150 km of range.

Other details are unknown, but the company’s ES sedan built on the same platform manages around 480 PS. In case you didn’t know, Exlantix is an EV-only car sub-brand for exports. The same SUV will be known as Sterra ET in China.
