The Exeed RX premium SUV will soon become available in a new special edition called Flying Fish, Sohu reports. Its main selling feature is an optional eight-speed automatic transmission offered instead of the usual seven-speed DCT. Prices in China will start from 167,800 Yuan.

Aside from an upmarket transmission, the Exeed RX Flying Fish packs more equipment than its standard counterpart. This includes adaptive suspension with adjustable shocks and ventilated/massaged front seats. The manufacturer claims that the new suspension design reduces body vibrations and side-rolling by as much as 30 percent.

Customers in China will get the Exeed RX Flying Fish in four trim levels. One of these will retain the 7DCT and two-wheel drive, while the other three will go 8AT and AWD. Going auto will result in a smoother ride and improved fuel economy, the company says.

Regardless of your choice, the engine stays the same – it is a 2.0T mill rated at 261 PS and 400 Nm of torque.
