Geely has updated its patent application for the all-electric Galaxy E8 sedan with full specifications shortly before its Guangzhou show premiere. Here’s what you can look forward to. Back in August, we learned that the base version of the sedan would ship with a single electric motor rated at 272 PS. According to the new data, there will also be a dual-motor version with different motors: 224 PS on the front axle and 422 PS on the rear. The combined output will thus amount to 646 PS. The top speed will be capped at 210 km/h.

The smaller of the available batteries will store 62 kilowatt-hours of power, and the larger will yield 76 kWh. Depending on your chosen spec, the range may vary from 550 to 665 km. The EV is 5,010 mm long, 1,920 mm wide and 1,465 mm tall with 2,925 mm of wheelbase. It has an aggressive-looking front bumper, C-shaped air intakes and boomerang-like headlights. The faux radiator grille has 158 integrated LEDs capable of pixelated animation. The rear end sports a diffuser and a single brake slight stripe. The drag ratio is impressively low at 0.199.

The base trim level includes a panoramic glass roof, 256-color ambient lighting, a heads-up display with a visible diagonal size of 25 inches, and an infotainment system displaying its content on three touchscreens at once (45” combined). The chipset is Snapdragon 8295.

Pre-ordering should become available as soon as the Geely Galaxy E8 is officially revealed.
