Zeekr has come to the Guangzhou Motor Show with its first all-electric sedan, the 007, and revealed its entire specifications. Pre-orders are already running with the base price at 229,900 Yuan (US$ 31,600), CarNewsChina reports. All buyers making an advance payment are eligible for a 5,000 Yuan discount.
The car pioneers a new design language
created under the supervision of famous former Audi/Mercedes designer Stefan
Sielaff. The coupe-like body of the Zeekr 007 has much smoother outlines than
the automaker’s earlier works and completely new lighting. The front end is
particularly impressive with a 90-inch Stargate LED panel that doesn’t just
illuminate the way but can also display simple text messages or images.
Inside, the main display is 15.5 inches
large, the dashboard is fully digital, and these is a 35.5-inch heads-up
display. The audio system consists of 21 speakers. Every car comes pre-equipped
with an advanced driver assist package including a LiDAR and 12 cameras. The
manufacturer claims over 20 features in the base package.
The version on sale so far has two
electric motors producing a combined 646 PS. The traction
battery yields up to 870 km of CLTC-rated driving range. Later on,
a single-motor version will go on sale with 421 PS and 688 km of range. The acceleration times are also impressive. The
dual-motor spec can reach 100 km/h from standstill in 2.84 seconds.
The single-motor one manages the same sprint in 5.4 seconds.
Zeekr has already reported receiving over
5,000 pre-orders within 30 minutes from the launch.
