Cadillac has unveiled the latest version of its Optiq EV in China. The 2025 Cadillac Optiq features a bold design and impressive features including its capable powertrain. The EV bears a strong resemblance to the bigger Cadillac Lyriq and comes with Cadillac’s signature vertical lighting elements.

The 2025 Cadillac Optiq is designed reportedly for the Chinese market and has a vibrant orange color. A 33-inch curved digital display is one of the highlights of the interior of the EV. The Optiq is available either as a standard model or a long range model. The Standard model has a front-mounted 241 hp electric motor with a torque of 329 Nm. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7 seconds. The Standard model has a 68.4kWh battery that delivers an estimated range of 536 km on a full charge. The Long Range version of the 2025 Cadillac Optiq is equipped with two electric motors for a combined all-wheel drive output of 283 hp and a torque of 465 Nm. It can go from 0 to 100km/h in 6 seconds. The Long Range model has a 79.7kWh battery pack that delivers a range of 600 km on a single charge.

 

The new Cadillac Optiq offers several driver assistance features including auto braking, lane assist, and Super Cruise (for the Long Range model). It comes with heated and ventilated seats and a heated steering wheel. It has leather upholstery for a more comfortable seating experience, coupled with a 126-color ambient lighting system. It also has a wireless smartphone charger and a digital rearview mirror for added convenience.

The 2025 Cadillac Optiq is priced in China at 239,700 yuan (US$ 33,107) for the Standard model and 269,700 yuan (US$ 37,251) for the Long Range variant. Customers will get a lifetime warranty on the EV’s electric systems. Cadillac has not provided any global availability information for the 2025 Cadillac Optiq yet.
