Premium automaker Exeed has revealed the pricing and the specifications of its new Sterra ET SUV (known in some countries as the Exlantix ET). It comes with two electric and one hybrid powertrain to choose from, and starts at 189,800 Yuan – 10,000 Yuan below the initial price announced during the pre-order phase. The all-electric version of the Exeed Sterra/Exlantix ET can be optioned with either one motor (on the rear axle) or two. The former option gives you 313 PS and 415 Nm of torque. The latter delivers 480 PS and 663 Nm of torque.
For the battery, you can get a 77-kWh pack
or a bigger 100-kWh one. The driving range will vary from 540 to 760 km depending on the motor count and the driving scenario. The
faster ET can hit 100 km/h from standstill in 3.8 seconds and maxes
out at 210 km/h.
In turn, the hybrid utilizes an electric
motor with 265 PS and 324 Nm of torque along with
a 1.5-liter engine and a 32-kWh battery. It can travel as far as 200 km on electricity alone or over 1,500 km in hybrid mode. It
needs 7.8 seconds to conclude the sprint and doesn’t go any faster than 180 km/h.
The base trim includes LED exterior lights
composed of a total of 956 diodes, an infotainment system with a 10.25-inch
screen (15.6-inch optional), up to 23 audio speakers and a sunroof 2.38 square
meters large. A LiDAR-based semi-autonomous driving system and two wireless
chargers are also included.
The hybrids cost from 189,800 to 225,800
Yuan in China. The EVs start at 229,800 and can lighten your bank account by up
to 319,800 Yuan with all boxes ticked. Exeed claims it received around 20,000
orders on the launch day.
