Changan and the Ministry of Industry and IT of China have posted the first images of the third-generation CS75 Plus crossover. The sales launch is likely still a few months away, but some of the specifications have already been revealed.

On the outside, the new CS75 features a bezel-free grille, new stacked headlights and a revised front bumper with air intakes. The rear end sports a compact spoiler and a LED stripe. The sides have been reshaped, too, and the door handles have become flush with the rest of the body. Size-wise, the next generation is 4,770 mm long, 1,910 mm wide and 1,695 mm tall with 2.8 meters between the axles.

Changan will most likely ship the crossover with several powertrains to choose from, but only one has been patented so far. It is based on a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and is said to produce either 188 or 192 metric horsepower. The former option is what the old CS75 Plus used, while the latter is new. As such, it may debut in tandem with a new transmission or even all-wheel-drive system. The details aren’t available at this moment.

Rumor has it that the entry-level CS75 Plus will cost from 100,000 to 120,000 Yuan in China.
