The facelifted Volkswagen Golf keeps getting new powertrain options in Europe. The latest addition comes in the form of not one, but two different plug-in hybrids.
The Golf GTE is the sportier of the two.
It commands 272 PS and can cover up to 131 km in
all-electric mode before the charge runs out. This one starts from € 46,745 in
Germany.
The Golf eHybrid is slightly more
affordable at € 44,240 before options. It is capped at 204 PS,
but covers up to 143 km in electric mode.
