The second generation of Volkswagen’s full-size Teramont SUV has been spotted running around in a mountainous area in China.
The camouflaged pre-production example
looks like it’s still far from the final version, even wearing temporary
taillights. The local media post rumors that the new Teramont is bigger in size
than its predecessor, but has the exact same engine options. In
particular, the flagship spec allegedly continues to use the turbocharged
2.5-liter V6 available exclusively in China.
The premiere date remains to be announced.
The important thing to note thus far is that Volkswagen continues investing
into the Teramont lineup in the country.
