A new hypercar brand will premiere at Pebble Beach on August 15, 2024. The firm, dubbed Nilu27, comes from automotive designer Sasha Selipanov who last year formed a new design studio dubbed Hardline27. A brief teaser video of the brand’s new hypercar has been shared online and shows the car from the rear. It features gullwing doors and the rear end kinda reminds us of the Pagani Utopia, but it has a slightly more aggressive design.
Immediately catching the eye are three
central tailpipes arranged in between the two wings. The clip also provides a
small snippet of the car revving and while it’s hard to determine what kind of
engine it has, it sounds naturally aspirated. Elsewhere, the rear of Nilu27’s
hypercar has simple LED taillights suspended in the rear grilles. There is also
a massive carbon fiber diffuser and the lack of a traditional bumper means
we’re provided an unimpeded view of the rear tires.
Little else is known about the car. In the
teaser’s description, Nilu27 is described as a “new hypercar brand, building
cars in equal measure beautiful and brutal! Unfazed by digitalization,
electrification and other distractions, we’re focusing on the ultimate
automotive experience with a healthy dose of ‘holy shit’ mixed in for good
measure.”
As you may or may not know, Sasha
Selipanov is the designer behind cars like the Bugatti Chiron, Koenigsegg
Gemera, and Genesis Essentia concept. He’s well-versed in penning hypercars
that look the part and the first creation from Nilu27 looks to tick all the
traditional hypercar boxes.
We do not know how progressed the
development of the vehicle is nor how many examples could be built, but we hope
we’ll get more info before the hypercar’s official unveiling at Pebble Beach.
