Updated with new colours for the Malaysia market is the 2024 Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES, priced at RM 119,388. Stocks of the Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES is expected in all Boon Siew Honda Big Wing dealers nationwide from October 10. Pricing excludes road tax, insurance and registration and every Africa Twin purchased comes with a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects. New colour options for the Africa Twin are Matte Iridium Grey Metallic and Pearl Glare White.
Otherwise, there are no changes to
specifications to the Africa Twin Adventures Sports ES for the Malaysia market.
Power comes from the improved parallel-twin engine displacing 1,084 cc and
pumping out 102 hp at 7,500 rpm with a peak torque of 112 Nm at 5,500 rpm.
The Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES comes
with a 19-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear, fitted with 110/80 and 150/70
tyres front and rear, respectively. Seat height is adjustable between 820 mm
and 840 mm without the use of tools. Showa supplies the suspension with 43 mm
electronically adjustable upside-down forks in front and electronically
controlled monoshock with compression and rebound damping. Suspension travel is
set at 210 mm front and rear while 24.5-litres is carried in the tank and
weight is 243 kg.
Braking is done with dual discs in front
clamped by twin radial-mount four-piston callipers while the rear of the Africa
Twin Adventure Sports ES gets a single disc with two-piston calliper, and
two-channel ABS is standard with the rear ABS switchable for off-road riding.
