Lexus IS sales have been trending downward, but the company isn’t throwing in the towel. They’ve announced a handful of updates for 2025 including a new special edition. Based on the range-topping IS 500 F Sport Premium, the limited edition sport sedan has a Flare Yellow exterior with 19-inch BBS wheels that have a dark finish. The two-tone theme is echoed in the cabin, which has Black NuLuxe seats with suede inserts and yellow contrast stitching. They’re joined by color-coordinated floor mats and key gloves as well as a SmartAccess card key. Production will be limited to 180 units and the model is slated to go on sale later this year. There’s no word on pricing, but the standard IS 500 F Sport Premium begins at US$ 64,845.

Besides the new Special Appearance Package, the IS 500 is notable for featuring a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine developing 472 hp and 535 Nm of torque. It’s connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. This enables the car to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 4.4 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 240 km/h.

Additional changes are limited, but the IS 300 F Sport and IS 350 F Sport now come equipped with dark chrome window trim as well as power folding mirrors with dark chrome accents. Inside, there’s a newly standard power tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel and a memory package that retains settings for the driver’s seat, steering wheel, and exterior mirrors. Meanwhile, the IS 300 F Sport Design and IS 350 F Sport Design gain a standard heated steering wheel based on “customer feedback.”

Lastly, the IS 350 F Sport can be equipped with BBS wheels featuring a new design. The aforementioned IS 500 F Sport also receives newly standard power folding mirrors. Pricing starts at US$ 41,360 which is US$ 100 more than last year’s model. However, pricing varies by trim as the IS 300 F Sport receives a US$ 1,075 price hike while the IS 500 F Sport climbs US$ 300.
