Toyota announced the 2025 Land Cruiser in the US, bringing a slight bump in pricing. Changes compared to the 2024 MY are limited to the omission of the First Edition trim, a new monotone Heritage Blue color option, and the addition of integrated liftgate lights in the cargo area. The 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser is available in only two grades – the 1958 and the Land Cruiser – as the First Edition has been discontinued. The starting MSRPs are US$ 56,450 and US$ 62,450 respectively, excluding a US$ 1,450 Dealer Processing and Handling Fee. Both of these numbers have been increased by US$ 500 compared to last year. The exterior design remains unchanged, with the 1958 trim featuring retro-inspired circular LED headlights, and the high-spec Land Cruiser trim opting for a slimmer rectangular design. Buyers of the latter, now have access to a monotone Heritage Blue exterior, alongside the already available bi-tone version with a Grayscape roof and the rest of the color palette.

As expected, the interior is carried over from last year’s model, except for the new integrated liftgate lights, which are a US$ 195 option. According to Toyota, these lights provide “improved cargo area visibility when the liftgate is open.” On the dashboard, the 1958 features a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8-inch infotainment screen, while the Land Cruiser upgrades to dual 12.3-inch screens. The high-spec model also features power heated and ventilated front seats upholstered in SofTex material, and a 10-speaker audio system.

The optional Premium Package adds a 14-speaker JBL sound system, head-up display, cool box, wireless charging, 20-inch wheels, and other goodies for an extra US$ 5,840, or US$ 6,035 if you add the liftgate light. The only powertrain option in the US-market Land Cruiser is the 2.4-liter i-FORCE MAX hybrid, generating 326 hp and 630 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The standard full-time 4WD system features locking center and rear differentials, and a two-speed transfer case.

The first examples of the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser will arrive in US dealers this fall.
