ET Scooter
While Xor Motors is on every European 2
wheeler show since 2010 but its launch / distribution set up is very long, here
is another option of foldable electric scooter.
Launched in 2014, the Chinese company
founded by three partners has already presented its products at the 2014
Intermot Cologne or in Chicago at the DealerExpo.
Compact and sleek, the ET Scooter is
literally three aluminum tubes, two mini 12-inch wheels and two disc brakes,
this minimalist electric scooter is available online for US$ 2,990.
The ET Scooter folds in just 5 seconds
thanks to a handle at the junction of the tubes, the scooter and folding
process are patented.
The entry level model receives a small
250Watt motor similar to those of electric bikes but other power options are
also available, up to 1000Watt for a maximum speed of 25 to 70 km/h and a range
of 25 to 40 km from a 48V Lithium battery that recharges in 3 to 4 hours.
Its total weight is announced at 30 kg
but it can withstand up to 150 kg, delivery of the first units is expected
before the end of 2015's first quarter.
