Lexus LF-SA
The premium Nippon brand continues to
rejuvenate with a new concept which will be premiered at the Geneva Motor Show,
it is a sub-compact / city-car which will be placed under the CT200h in range.
After the NX300h that we had the
opportunity to try in October, Lexus is working to fill the gaps in its product
range and rejuvenates the supply and design. In the wake of the NX we discover
the LF-SA concept, a small city car with three doors that seeks to take some
market share in trendy city car market.
The angular styling incorporates the
features of crossovers in a very compact proposition, true mini NX it receives
almost identical headlights and rear lights, and combines them with the brand’s
characteristic large grille that is more particularly found on the F-Sport
trim.
Perfect in terms of styling, remains to
see what powertrain will be offered in the concept Lexus LF-SA but there will
certainly be a gasoline hybrid on the program.
The production model will likely be
based on the platform of the Toyota Yaris and should arrive in showrooms by
2018.
