GreenGT H2

In development since 2011, this hydrogen race car was first expected at the 24h of Le Mans in 2013, but at the time its development was not completely finsihed. It is therefore with great satisfaction for the GreenGT team that Olivier Panis was able to make a lap of the legendary circuit of Le Mans in the opening of the official competition.

Indeed, after testing at the Paul Ricard at the end of 2015 and a presentation on the 2016 Paris ePrix few months ago, the GreenGT H2 has finally been able to tackle the Sarthe circuit with 540 hp, 1240 kg and a max speed of 300 km/h with 40 minutes of range in race use.

After years of development, the powertrain of the GreenGT H2 is finally able of high performances and endurance (note also that its design is due to evolve based on the concept H2 Speed presented at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show this year).

Regarding the race of Le Mans 24 Hours itself, it is ultimately Porsche who won for the 18th time. Just in front the unfortunate Toyota team who face a failure in the last lap while they were leading! Audi finishes 3rd and 4th.
