(Maruti) Suzuki S-Cross facelift
Here is a close-up image of the (Maruti)
Suzuki S-Cross facelift from its manufacturing plant in Hungary. As reported
earlier, the official debut of the S-Cross facelift will take place in the
coming days, and European and U.K. sales are expected to commence before the
end of the year.
The mid-cycle refresh introduces a new
face comprising of an upright chrome grille with vertical slats, redesigned
projector headlamps and bumper with a larger radiator grille and new foglamp
enclosures. From what we can tell, the side and rear end doesn’t feature much
changes over the outgoing model, save for new alloy rim designs.
Inside, the only changes seen in the
leaked image of the facelifted S-Cross are updated instrument cluster dials
with new MID, new trim options for the dashboard, updated interior color
combinations and seat upholstery with contrast stitching.
The new S-Cross could pack the the
all-new 1.4-litre, direct-injection, turbocharged Boosterjet petrol engine
sourced from the Suzuki Vitara S, which produces 140 hp and 220 Nm of torque.
For markets like the U.K, the diesel variant will continue with the 1.6L diesel
engine also offered in the India-spec model. It will likely feature a 6-speed
manual or automatic transmissions and Suzuki’s AllGrip AWD system (optional).
