The Kamiq has become Skoda’s
first crossover to get the Scoutline trim, set to join regular and Monte Carlo
versions from June. Available in a wide selection of body colors, it boasts
visual upgrades such as the matte black wheel arch liners, silver bodywork
elements, front spoiler with underbody protection and rear diffuser. Also
included in the package are tinted side windows with chrome-plated surrounds,
full LED taillights, model-specific badging and 17-inch Braga alloy wheels – or
optional 18-inch Crater wheels with polished anthracite finish.
Interior images have yet to be
released, but the Czech automaker says that it features exclusive decorative
elements, such as the ash-wood effect offered at no extra cost or dark brushed
design available as an option.
These are complemented by the
chrome-style air vents, aluminum pedal covers, height-adjustable front seats
wrapped in special upholstery made of fabric and micro-fiber, as well as
leather-wrapped steering wheel, handbrake lever and gearshift lever. The white,
red and orange LED ambient lighting, LED reading lights and optional black roof
lining complete the look on the inside.
The Kamiq Scoutline will be
available with the complete engine range that includes three petrol units, one
diesel and one CNG (compressed natural gas), whose outputs range between 90 PS and 150 PS. Full details, market availability
and pricing will be announced in due course, but if you want to see it in
person, you will have to attend the 2020 Geneva Motor Show in March, as that’s
where it will celebrate its public premiere.
