KTM has finally launched the much-awaited 2022 KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle in India and the motorcycle has been priced at Rs 3.28 lakh (ex-showroom, India). This is the latest iteration of the adventure motorcycle and the model made its debut in the US market. As part of the update, KTM has made a few key changes on the motorcycle to make it even better. These changes include both functional and aesthetic changes.

Speaking about the changes, the new 2022 KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle looks quite different to its predecessor with its new colour option. Moreover, these colour options are in line with the Dakar winning KTM Factory Rally motorcycles. In addition to the new body colour, the design of the new 2022 KTM 390 Adventure looks a bit more aerodynamic as KTM made a few subtle changes on the body panels to better suit the rider's requirement. These new changes include tank shrouds, tank design, rear side panels and headlight mask.

Thanks to this new design, the 2022 KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle looks slightly better balanced than its predecessor. Also, these changes aid the rider with better freedom to move and the aerodynamics has also been tuned for better protection against wind blasts at higher speeds. Another noticeable change on the new 2022 KTM 390 Adventure is the use of new 5-spoke Aluminium wheels instead of the 6-spoke alloy wheels. Thanks to this upgrade, the wheels are now more resilient to impact and lighter than the previous ones.

The feature list on the new 2022 KTM 390 Adventure remains largely unchanged and the motorcycle comes with features such as LED headlights, LED taillamps, LED turn indicators, an adjustable windscreen, fully coloured TFT instrument display, smartphone connectivity with optional turn-by-turn navigation, and a 12V charging port. However, KTM has updated the traction control (TC) system on the new 2022 KTM 390 Adventure and the system now features two modes - Street and Off-Road, where the 'Off-Road' mode allows for a bit more wheelspin. Suspension and braking hardware remains the same as the previous version as the 2022 KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle comes with non-adjustable inverted forks at the front, a WP Apex mono-shock at the rear, a single disc brake set up at the front and rear, and a dual-channel ABS setup with Off-Road mode.

Powering the 2022 KTM 390 Adventure is the same tried-and-tested 373.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with 42.3 bhp of peak power and 37 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick-shifter.
