Chery’s premium car sub-brand Exeed has revealed some specifics about the five-door modification of its large SUV, the VX. Removing the rear bench and some other minor features helped drop the prices a little. In its most basic front-wheel-drive spec, the five-seater costs 183,900 Yuan, while the matching seven-seater starts from 193,900 Yuan. Opting for AWD raises the price to 193,800 Yuan.
The new Exeed VX features a radiator
grille with vertical bars and a special Green Metallic paint. Inside, the gear
lever has become larger than before and the center tunnel trim between the
front seats has been modified slightly.
Heads-up display, front parking sensor,
self-parking assist and ventilated front seats are not available with the
five-seat version of the SUV. Additionally, it looks like the wheels have grown
a bit smaller, although this remains to be confirmed.
Powering the soft-roader is a 2.0-liter
turbocharged four-cylinder engine connected to a seven-speed DCT with gear
pre-selection for 261 PS and 400 Nm of torque.
