Chery has released a bunch of photos showing the final production version of its Jetour T-1 SUV. The car is still wrapped in camo, but AutoHome reports that it will debut in April and go on sale in Q3 2023 as a Tank 300 rival. The company had previously shown us a pre-production variant of the T-1, and the new one looks little different. It has the same edgy silhouette, an unusual glass dome at the rear, a reinforced bumper and black fender flares.
It remains to be seen whether such
accessories as the boxy spare wheel cover pictured here will actually make it
into production. Compared to the prototype, the factory-spec T-1 has
simpler-looking headlights, lacks suicide doors and offers regular door handles
instead of concealed ones.
In all likelihood, the Jetour T-1 will
originally ship with a 2.0-liter turbo four-pot rated at 254 PS and 390 Nm of torque. Eight-speed auto transmission and AWD
should be included in the base spec. The standard five-seater is expected to be
4.8 meters long, while the seven-seat version could be 4.95 meters long. Later
on, the T-1 might get a hybrid version based on a 1.6-liter turbo engine. The
starting price is estimated at 149,800 Yuan.
