ACS1 5.0d

Though it looks like a slightly-modified 1 Series, this little hot hatch modified by tri-turbocharged, 3.0-litre, inline-six powerplant taken from the 5-Series M50d under its hood.

Named the ACS1 5.0d / 150d, the 1 Series chugs out 394 HP and 800 Nm torque from the diesel-powered beast, making 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, while AC Schnitzer points out that the acceleration from 80 to 180 km/h happens in only 7.9 seconds.

The power range can vary from 151 HP to 375 HP, in order to satisfy every demand, and the AC Schnitzer-signed kit emphasizes the model’s new power infusion. In fact, AC Schnitzer says that the improved package offers driving fun and maximum "cornering comfort", thanks to the fully-adjustable racing suspension and new exhaust system.

Styling-wise, the 1 Series can sit on a choice of humongous wheels (varying from 19" and 20") and boasts the usual BMW M-Technik kit mated to AC Schnitzer’s own personal touch. So, expect two-piece front spoiler elements, chromed front grille on the export variant, and rear roof wing.

Inside, you’ll find the AC Schnitzer desiged interior, garnished with - among other things - aluminum cover for the "i-Drive" system controller, AC Schnitzer keyholder, a gear knob with digital gear display and the "Black Line" aluminum gear knob or a leather gear knob optionally available with illumination.
