Chevrolet Beat, Enjoy and Sail Special Editions
GM India unveiled a host of special
editions at the ongoing Auto Expo 2016. The list includes the two Chevrolet
Beat special editions, Chevrolet Sail special edition and the Chevrolet Enjoy
special edition. All four versions get only cosmetic changes compared to their
regular siblings.
Chevrolet Beat special edition
The Beat hatchback’s special edition
gets minor cosmetic changes like white and black racing stripes on the bonnet
and the door panels. The rear gets a white roof spoiler, while the car is
installed with a full body kit. The hatchback also gets bigger alloy wheels
with 195/55 R15 tyres. On the inside there are red panels on dashboard, red
lining on the black seats, ‘Beat’ lettering on the seat, black floor mat with
red lining, stainless steel pedals and a new touchscreen infotainment unit.
Chevrolet Beat Manchester United special
edition
Another Beat special edition on display
was the Manchester United version, with the football team’s logo stamped on the
bonnet, rear door, and interiors. The hatchback gets white inserts on the
dashboard, stainless steel pedals, redesigned floor mats with white bordering,
along with special red stitching on the seat and head rest cover.
Chevrolet Sail special edition
As for the Sail special edition, the
sedan gets larger alloys on the outside, darkened headlamps, side skirting
along with chrome bars on the grille, wheelbase and a chrome lining on the boot
lid and taillights. On the inside, the Sail special edition gets a dual tone
white and black interior, black dashboard with white inserts, stainless steel
pedals, white bordering on black floor mats, and a faux-wood finish on the door
panel, centre console and gear lever panel.
Chevrolet Enjoy special edition
Also on display was a special edition of
the Chevrolet Enjoy. Apart from cosmetic changes, a bar-code like graphics on
the bonnet, the Enjoy gets a new bull-bar and freshly designed alloy wheels. On
the inside gets a new horizontal stack of buttons that include the hazard
lights, a head-up display unit and dual tone brown and black treatment on the
seats and dashboard.
