BMW Individual 750Li xDrive
"Solitaire" and "Master Class Edition"
We know BMW is gunning for the S-Class’
reign in the super-luxury segment, and with the latest “Individual” Solitaire
and Master Class Edition 750i xDrive models, the car maker closes the gap a
little more.
BMW’s Individual program has been a
major part of its “bespoke” car manufacturing process for more than 20 years,
offering extra individualization and customization to individuals seeking to
get more out of their Bavarian vehicles.
“The BMW Individual Manufactory is not
so much a place where masterful craftsmen provide vehicles with solutions that
are tailor-made to the individual ideas of our customers, but rather an
attitude driven by the aspiration to offer maximum customer orientation and to
ensure that our customers’ wishes become reality,” says Frank van Meel, CEO of
BMW M GmbH.
The new special edition variants of the
BMW 7-Series come with exclusive and finely crafted equipment details – as BMW claims.
Both are based on the 750Li xDrive model, but while the “Solitaire Edition”
will be limited to only 6 models, the “Master Class Edition” will be a truly
bespoke one-of-a-kind offering.
Outside, there are two special
colors - BMW Individual Metallic Black Gold and BMW Individual Metallic
Solitaire White, but it's the interior that really reflects the newly acquired
“elegance” motif.
Besides the acres of Alcantara and fine
leather, the cabin also features soft floor mats made from sheared lambskin in
Tartufo. A bar compartment with
tulip sparkling wine glasses and an integrated cooling box in the rear
compartment center console is also available, although the highlight of these
special edition models are undoubtedly the five optional diamond inserts in the
interior trims on the dashboard and doors.
