Hero MotoCorp has listed the Hero HF Deluxe
i3S on their Indian website. The bike is powered by the same powertrain and
continues to weigh the same 107 kg (wet).
The 2017 Hero HF Deluxe i3S measures 1,965 mm in
length, 720 mm in width and has an overall height of 1,045 mm. Powering the
bike is a 97.2 cc air-cooled single-cylinder mill which is coupled to a 4 speed
gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 8.36 PS of maximum power at 8,000
rpm and 8.05 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm. The i3S system is the company’s
patented start-stop system which shuts down the engine when the rider stops for
a few seconds.
The Hero HF Deluxe i3S has drum brakes as standard
and is available with kick-start as well as self-start. The bike can store 9.5
litre of petrol and tips the scales at 107 kg. The self-start version is 3 kg heavier. The Hero HF Deluxe i3S has 18-inch wheels and offers a ground
clearance of 165 mm. The bike is equipped Auto Headlamp On function.
Pricing is yet to be announced.
Expect it to be a little more expensive than the standard model which starts at
INR 42,630 and goes up to INR 45,930 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
