A heavily camouflaged Jaguar XF prototype has been
spied this week, suggesting the British sedan is likely to get a facelift in
the not-too-distant future. The heavy camouflage is unusual for just a facelift, particularly at the rear.
Up front, this XF has reshaped headlights, while the
rear doors appear longer. Out the back, the heavy camouflage conceals most
details, though the tail-lights appear to be similar to those of the current
car.
Considering there is meant to be an high-performance
SVR variant along with a more practical Sportbrake wagon body added to the
current range before the next-generation model arrives, it’s unclear how
extensive this ‘facelift’ for the XF will be.
It’s also worth noting the
prototypes for the wagon, last spied testing in October, wear the headlights of
the current model as opposed to the revised units on the vehicle in these
images.
