Bengaluru based Bulleteer Customs has created an
off-road version of the Royal Enfield Continental GT called the ‘Scrambler
140’. The bike gets a beautiful matte blue finish, with contrasting chrome on
the exhaust and fork. The tracker handlebars and single piece ribbed seats
enhance the ergonomics. Furthermore, the guys at the workshop have repositioned
the foot pegs to make it easier for off-roading.
The bike gets a minimalistic crash guard with rope
winding for that rugged look. The front-end gets bigger spoke wheels than the
rear, for easier handling off the road. The wheels are shod with meaty Ralco
tyres. The exhaust bend pipe is heat wrapped and ends in a custom upswept silencer.
The lack of a rear fender adds muscle to the bike. The front fender is
minimalistic, as well.
The bike gets an aftermarket headlamp, single pod
cluster, and LED indicators. With these modifications, the bike has transformed
from a café racer to a potent off-road scrambler, living up to its moniker.
Mechanically, the
single-cylinder 535 cc engine with fuel injection punches out 29.1 bhp at 5,100
rpm and 44 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine pairs with a 5-speed gearbox.
The bike gets 41 mm front forks and Paioli twin gas charged shock absorbers
with adjustable preload at the rear.
