It’s unlikely that Renaultsport would
consider laying their hands on the Duster, although it’s interesting to know
what it would look like if they did.
Inspired by the Megane and Clio R.S, the Duster R.S
features aggressive bumpers with silver accents, contrasting gloss black front
lip, wider wheel arches, contoured front hood, small side intake with R.S
badging, gloss black ORVM caps, black roof rails, R.S graphics, 19 inch
black-painted alloy rims with low profile tires, and R.S exclusive Liquid
Yellow exterior colour.
The interior may not have been rendered, but one can
expect sportier seats with Alcantara upholstery, Alcantara wrapped steering
wheel with paddle shifters, R.S instrument cluster, and an all-black theme with
red accents.
Under the hood could be a 1.6-litre turbo
four-cylinder petrol engine producing 200 PS and 260 Nm, sent to all four
wheels through a six-speed EDC dual-clutch auto and an AWD system. The Duster
RS would also sit slightly lower and have a firmer ride, thanks to the sportier
suspension setup.
