The TVS Apache RR 310S has been spied once again, and this time the bike has been spotted sporting a tailbag.

The test mule also features an action camera next to the windshield, presumably to record and study the motorcycle’s touring performance. A tail bag suits the motorcycle better than a saddlebag, especially because of the upswept exhaust. The riding position is sporty, yet comfortable. The ergonomics and the large bubble-type windshield can make this bike a potential sporty tourer. The rear view mirrors are on the handlebars, and the frame appears to be black in colour. In August, a patent design of the motorcycle leaked.

In the production version, the motorcycle borrows the powerplant from the BMW G310R. The G310R employs a 313 cc single cylinder, DOHC engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection. The engine pairs with a 6-speed gearbox. It develops 34 PS of power at 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. TVS is likely to tune the engine differently in the Apache to suit its dynamics.

The motorcycle comes with upside down front fork with gold finish and a rear monoshock. Brakes include petal discs on both ends. Expect TVS to offer ABS at least as an option. The TVS Apache RR 310S will reportedly be launched this month. Expect the bike to cost below INR 2 lakhs, ex-showroom. The prime competitor of the bike in its price segment is the KTM RC390.
