Infiniti announced that that it will build five new models in China in the next five years, including the new QX50, highlighting the importance of the market there for their future. The Japanese car maker is going to showcase the all-new QX50 SUV at the Beijing Auto Show for the first time in Asia, with local production to begin ramping up at their manufacturing facility in Dalian.

Chinese-built Infiniti QX50s will be sold exclusively to the China market, where they will go on sale later this year. In addition, the company targets electrified models to account for more than 50 percent of its new sales globally by 2025 and triple their sales in China over the next five years.

Infiniti is also bringing the Infiniti Q Inspiration concept at the Beijing Auto Show for its Asia debut. The impressive concept previews the next steps in the company’s design language that will be applied in future electrified models.
