Mahindra has expanded its product lineup in Italy
with the launch of the KUV100. Pawan Goenka, Executive Director, Mahindra &
Mahindra Ltd. tweeted the latest development. The company has not revealed any
more details regarding the launch of the Mahindra KUV100.
The launch took place in Rome in presence of
Mahindra dealers. The company has not revealed specifications of the
Italian-spec KUV100. Prices and specifications haven’t been updated. The
official website does not list the KUV100 either.
The image shared on Twitter shows multiple units of
the Mahindra KUV100 in Flamboyant Red & Metallic Black. It appears to be
wearing the same alloy wheels as the LHD version showcased at Automobile
Barcelona in May 2017. The KUV100 likely to be powered by the G80 1.2 L petrol
engine.
The India-spec Mahindra KUV100 NXT measures 3,700 mm
long, 1,735 mm wide and 1,655 mm tall. Engine options include a 1.2 L mFalcon
G80 petrol and 1.2 L mFalcon D75 diesel. The petrol engine produces 82 bhp and
115 Nm of torque. The diesel engine develops 77 bhp and 190 Nm of torque. A
5-speed manual transmission is standard.
As per the Mahindra Italy website, the company sells
the XUV500, Quanto, Scorpio and Scorpio pickup (Goa), and Genio in the country.
