Bollinger has published a number of renderings which
show the extent to which its all-electric B1 SUV and B2 pickup truck can be
modified.
Taking to Twitter, the small company shared images
of how customized versions of its vehicles could look like, based on requests,
comments, and conversations it received from the online community. The images
show that the B1 and B2 can be perfectly out-fitted for wild adventures much
like the Jeep Wrangler.
One thing which the two models have in common are no
traditional doors and instead, there are simply tube-frame doors to
(hopefully…) keep occupants onboard over difficult and treacherous terrain.
Elsewhere, both the B1 and B2 have been pictured with no less than eight huge
driving lights on the roof. Other distinctive parts include hood-mounted and
rear-mounted spare wheels, new wheels and tires, and winches. The B1 even
includes a small roof ladder to provide access onto the huge steel roof rack.
It’s unclear if all of these accessories will be
offered by Bollinger to customers but if they are, we imagine they will prove
very popular and help encourage future owners to not baby their models and
instead take them for road-trips and adventures.
Bollinger’s B1 and B2 SUVs both come with a pair of
electric motors and a 120 kWh battery pack to deliver a total of 614 hp and 905 Nm of torque and provide a claimed range of 320 km. The
company plans on starting deliveries next year.
