MV Agusta bikes are popular not only for their mind-boggling performance, but also for what they represent, a legacy of association with motorsports. And this heritage shines out in the way MV Agusta styles its bikes: Right down from the silhouette to the looks, everything on an MV Agusta bike screams performance. And the Dragster 800 RC is no different. This naked street-fighter with its mass forward stance and short tail looks like its meant to take on a track. But what if this isn't enough for someone?

Well, this brings us to another thing the Italian motorcycle maker excels at, i.e. creating custom bikes. So, when a customer approached MV Agusta to create a custom Dragster 800 RC, the company's design team decided to take things up a notch and came up with the MV Agusta Dragster RC Shining Gold. We'll leave it up to you to decide how the bike looks with its golden livery, but we will admit that it will undoubtedly make heads turn. And it's all because of that bling the bike is draped in and before you ask, it's not real gold.

This golden effect has been created using ergal and carbon fibre and can be seen on the brake and clutch lever, alloy wheels, the headlight cowl, and even on the fuel tank. This element is also wrapped around the exposed tubular trellis frame. The triple barrel SC Project Reparto Corse exhaust too gets golden accents. All of this works well to make the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RC Shining Gold stand out from the crowd. And that's not all, MV Agusta also gave the customer a X-lite X-803 Ultra Carbon helmet with golden livery to match with their tailor-made bike.

Besides the cosmetic 'upgrades', the RC Shining Gold is no different than a regular 800 RC. The one-off bike is still powered by the 798 cc three-cylinder engine that puts out a maximum power of 150 bhp and 86.98 Nm of torque. Oh and the bike can achieve a top speed of 244 km/h.

The features too on the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RC Shining Gold are borrowed from the regular 800 RC. So, it gets the latest iteration of MV's fully digital MVICS (motor and vehicle integrated vehicle control system). Besides offering the necessary readouts, this display also allows the rider to choose from four different riding modes -- Custom, Rain, Sport, and Normal. Finally, the bike's safety features -- it gets eight-levels adjustable traction control system, Bosch 9 plus ABS, RLM (rear wheel lift-up mitigation), and 320 mm front and 220 mm rear disc brakes.

If you are wondering how much this one-off MV Agusta Dragster RC Shining Gold costs, you are out of luck because the Italian bike maker hasn't revealed the bike's price. But we can confidently say that it costs much more than the standard Dragster 800 RC, which, in Italy, retails at € 20,000 or ₹ 14.77 lakh.
