At GIIAS 2019, VW launch its newest SUV, the VW Tiguan Allspace. As the name suggests, Allspace
gives the cabin an impression of freedom. This is shown by the increase in
passenger capacity, which is 7 passengers.
By using the MQB (modular transverse matrix) platform, Tiguan has a larger dimension and a
longer axis of 77 mm compared to the previous generation. "The Allspace VW
Tiguan has a 1.4 TSI engine that produces 150 brake horse power and 250 Nm of
torque. The transmission is 6-speed automatic double clutch or DSG," Jonas
continued.
When the third row
seat of the VW Tiguan Allspace is used, the luggage capacity reaches 230
liters. When the third row seats are folded, the luggage capacity becomes 700
liters. And if the second row seats are folded, the capacity reaches 1,775
liters.
