The 2020 Tata Nexon wearing the production body has
been spied once again. This is perhaps the clearest sight of the facelifted
mini SUV's new front-end.
With the facelift, the Tata Nexon is set to receive
a bolder, more imposing front-end. The key design change at the front is the
new, angular headlamps packing projector lens and LED DRLs in order to keep up
with the competition. Apart from that, its upper grille and lower grille, along
with the bumper and the fog lamps, now sport an edgier look. The rear-end has
apparently remained unchanged.
In terms of interiors, the 2020 Tata Nexon is
expected to feature a new steering wheel, which has already been revealed in a
previous spy-shot. Additional in the feature list will be the rain-sensing
wipers and cruise control. Engine options will likely include BS-VI compatible
1.2L Revotron petrol and 1.5L Revotorq diesel units. That said, a pure electric
variant is said to arrive in the H2 2020. Also, there are chances that the same
may be displayed in a concept form at the Auto Expo 2020.
This will be the first major update for the Tata
Nexon since its launch in September 2017. The B-SUV's competitors include the
Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and the Mahindra XUV300. Expect it
to be launched in early 2020.
