Toyota Kirloskar Motor is
planning on launching a refreshed Yaris with exterior and interior changes
soon. The new Toyota
Yaris will flaunt a dual tone roof top along with new diamond-cut alloy wheels.
While on the inside, it will feature new leatherette seat upholstery, reworked
bolstering in the second row. Moreover, as in the latest Brazilian-spec Toyota
Yaris, and the infotainment system will support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
There will be no
changes in terms of mechanicals, and the 1.5-litre Dual VVT-i four-cylinder
engine which delivers a maximum power output of 109 PS and a peak torque of 140
Nm will continue. This engine can be had with a 6-speed MT or a CVT. In terms
of its safety package, the Toyota Yaris features 7 airbags, ABS with EBD,
parking sensors, reverse camera, VSC, HAC, TPMS and disc brakes on all wheels.
